I heard Steve's early radial speakers in a 20 ft x 20 ft room. They created a very solid image that floated in the middle of the room between the top of the speakers and the ceiling. The early speakers had a rather home made construction to the inverted cone setup and a choice of resistors to vary the bass response.
Note that the nominal impedance is 4 ohms and are described as tube friendly. Friendly perhaps to his quirky amps, but not most tube amps.
Note also that while the woofer acts omnidirectionally, the tweeter is a dipole, so presentation could be a bit "odd".
As this is the 4th or 5th version of the radial speaker, I woundn't count on it being the "final" as his website suggests. (Steve has a history of continual updates.)
