LOL
I'll come up with any reason to spend more time at home!

If Jim walks them here, the first case is on me...

This thread needs to be tagged as "NSFW" .... it is keeping me from my work!

I sit here trying to decide what finish I would choose but find myself saying "Oh this would look nice in my house" for every picture posted. They are all beautiful in their own way, which is awesome.

As soon as I have money to spare I will put my order in for some Songtower goodness. Until then I will be wine and dining my wife and enjoying the time with my beautiful baby girl.

If you were single, well .... tough choice.  But since you are married, empower your wife to make the decorating decision, especially since the choice she makes you're bound to like!

I am officially ordered and waiting.  1 pair of ST, 1 song center and 1 pair of song surounds in curly maple.

Will continue to use my HSU STF-2 until I order a new sub(most likely 1 or 2 Rythmik 15 SE's).

What am I currently doing?  looking to dump money into an external amp for my denon 3808 which displeases me.  Also, according to the government, I am living The Dream that is promised to all of us and coping with The Dream with three fingers of Woodford Reserve, neat.

I also need to list a pair of Rocket RS150's and Rocket 'Big Foot' center for sale.  i will be keeping the Rocket RS550's with risers and using them in a small bedroom set up.  Sure enough i just plugged in an old HK AVR 525 receiver from yesteryear that i will use with it, and order another SqueezeBox for media streaming.  The HSU STF-2 will join this simple bedroom set up once replaced with new subs.

Do you car-pool or take a scheduled train or something?

No. I drive alone...
I set them up and they sound beautiful.  I have to admit -- I am stunned at the clarity - I need to get used to them.
They are gorgeous as well.  I took pictures of the unpacking and setup, I will post.
I have to say, right now I am listening to the TV (Ranger Hockey game) and I cannot believe how clear the sound is.
I love the way they seem to "float" above the bases also, great design...
I can go on and on-- but I got a game to watch.... I can't wait to go through Jim's CD as well as all of mine....  I am truly a happy man.
My Lady even complimented on the look and sound.
Pardon me for saying this... but the smell when you open the big box is heavenly!  LOL
I hope Jim wears a mask!

Too cool, Casey.  Too cool.   8)

I look forward to further impressions, and those pics, of course.

Newzooreview, I appreciate your Jan 3, response on your new HT1-TL speakers. It gave me a better idea on how those speakers

work in a small room similar to mines. Right now, that model is the one I am most interested in and would probably fit my room and

budget best. Please provide any more new feedback on your speakers as they break in further. Thanks Again and congrats to you

on your new speakers

Add another person in wait to the list.

Ordered a pair of ST's with the ribbon upgrade in satin black with black baffles this morning.  Took a leap of faith and did it without hearing them first, but with so many positive comments on these things including ones from a good friend of mine, I couldn't wait to pull the trigger on them any longer.  For the short term they will have to be driven by my Denon 1800 AVR, but a better dedicated amp is certainly on my short wish list.  Thinking I'm making a pretty big step up from my NHT Super Ones.

I've not heard the RT's, but I did work for a NHT dealer back in the day. The differences between the Super One and the SongTower with the done tweeters is far far more than a "pretty big step up." Colossal may not even be accurate. Enjoy! You are in for a treat.
