coke:Isn't taking too long, is it? That seems pretty quick (for me, anyway, but they aren't my speakers). Looking forward to your impressions when you receive your speakers (and some PHOTOS).
Coke - What type of veneer did you go with?
Can anyone comment on which speakers might work better in a room 15' x 12' with an 8ft ceiling height. The speakers would be placed on the 12 ft side of the room. Would the Song Towers with the ribbon tweeters work better or would the new HT1- TL be okay? The room is on the smaller side, so I am not sure if the HT1-TL's bass would be too much. Please give me your input. Thanks
Well, the good news is I received one of my HT1-TL's today -- the bad news is that for some reason I have to wait until tomorrow for the next one to show up...What a tease! I guess the FedEx people must have had a full truck load or something lol, but I'm guessing it just slipped past them.So right now, I am enjoying my (single) HT1-TL... even now in mono it sounds fantastic! The box arrived unscathed; Jim did a really good job packing this speaker up. Lets hope my other speaker arrives tomorrow in the same condition!I'll report back tomorrow with some pictures.. In other news I am probably going to invest in a beefier amp for these speakers, right now I really have to crank the volume control on my Onkyo A-9555 integrated to get much output.

I noticed the same soundstaging differences when I was A-B'ing the ST and HT1's for a couple of doctors. It must have something to do with an MTM's radiation pattern vs. an MT. I thought the ST's had a little more "snap" in their presentation, but the HT1 TL's definitely presented a deeper sound stage.
Jim e- mailed me today... they shipped!!!! I think I'm gonna take the next few weeks off so I can track the delivery!Like I said to Jim.... nothing like Christmas in January!!!!
