Outstanding. The big day finally cometh. Looking forward to your listening impressions. With the money that you spent on that shirt, you could have bought more speakers. I blew out my flip flop,Stepped on a pop top,Cut my heel, had to cruise on back home. But there's booze in the blender,And soon it will renderThat frozen concoction that helps me hang on.
vintageb:Glad that you are pleased. When I was reading your post, I was thinking that describes exactly the way that I reacted to hearing the HT2-TL the first time. They only sound better in time.I also like Come Away with Me. Have you listened to Shelby Lynne's Just a Little Lovin? Nice music.
I am very happy that you like your new "man toys," as my wife calls them. Great write-up!However, your posts lacks one important thing: more PICS!! How about some with everything set up and in place? Sorry...I am speakerporn addicted. Please feed my addiction!
Glad to hear you like them! I'm hoping to have mine by the end of next week or so, maybe early the following week. How long did it take you to unpack all that gear? Sounds like you had quite a Christmas party with HT1's and HT2-TL's. Maybe building a fort is in order next. What sub are you using, do you have one that you were using with the Swan's? I know my wife will be very anxious to throw in a blu ray while I want to play with some CD's. Either way, it'll be nice to go through everythign again.

My AVA stuff arrives tomorrow so I have cables waiting, etc. Once I get those setup and the room squared away...
It might be awhile...The phono section of the AVA preamp was on the wrong side for my layout so I am tearing my entire system apart and rearranging everything.

Well, since you bought an entire forest you should expect to spend about three days! Really, once you have the strapping off the boxes they basically come apart so it is not too bad. I did panic at one point because I couldn't find the bolts for the first speaker/plinth but I figured they were with the second speaker and they were. Breaking down the boxes to get them in the recycle dumpster was a real treat.
OK, now I get it. You should be required to show your AVA invoice before you are allowed to buy a set of Salks. ; )
