computer locked me out of administrator

computer locked me out of administrator

there never been a pasword and it wont let me in any body have any ideas

If it's a password problem this will reset to blank. Maybe someone is screwing with you. I would if I worked there... haha

Is there a password popup happening now that didn't happen before? Do you login as Administrator, or you mean you have administrator rights on your own account?

If this doesn't work, we can think of something else to try.

its like the administrator account is disabled i have full i right under my other account but it wont let me log in as administrator

If you have full rights under your other account, you should be able to change the login info for administrator I believe.

when i try to change user Administrator is not coming up, Strange, i found the user profile for administrator but i dont know how to get it to load and whats really anoying all my setting are gone in all the apps. the data is all there under administrator but it does  give me the opertunity to log on as administrator

Have you tried System Restore to a date before you had the problem?

Googling "Logon as Administrator Vista" proved interesting. Seems like it is just working as designed - The Microsoft Way.... but there are some ways around it.

45 minutes in restore and its just starting to move but i see all my icons and my wall paper. hey im back up and looking good now that just sucked
