Hi Dave,
The wife and I are enjoying the Majik Buss demo. Still in the HT at present. I should be getting it into the 2 ch system next week.
I have two questions for you.
1) Is is possible to build a Majik Buss with more ports, say 6 in total?
2) Would/is there any advantage to using the 20 amp version in a 15 amp ckt?
Thx,
Dan
Hi, Dan. I appreciate the fact that you said "enjoying". Things like that make my day.

I can build units with more outlets. They would be custom units and would not use the nifty Leviton quad that is on the BUSS. I looked for quite a while to find that one. I like it better than the Hubbell quad and is more economical which helps keep the cost down. That is one of the reasons that the BUSS is packaged the way it is. I went for performance and not beauty... but then black is beautiful. I love black cars... in the winter and freshly washed, that is.
I need more coffee.......................
Something that you should try for more outlets is this unit:
http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100356841They work quite well and have the heaviest blades of any that I have found and the connector finger pressure is high.
Please contact me by PM if you want to discuss a custom build.
15A vs 20A - the internals are the same. The difference is the IEC C20 chassis plug > They are much heavier duty and I actually prefer them over any other chassis connector. If you want a Majik Buss with that connector, all you have to do is request that style connector.
This brings me to the UberBUSS. It will be released in about a month. It has a C20 plug as standard. It is also a very different unit and will be considerably more expensive at $995.00 (tentative pricing). It is a Majik BUSS on steroids... more to come on this as I get reports back for the Beta units.
If you have any more questions just let me know.
Dave
