Ok, D, time for me to put up or shut up. Be patient and I will. Dynamics are superior with the Uber noticable like very on uncompressed recordings. If you don't own Sound Roots (Andy McKee and NEXT) from Mapleshade, all ya'll, should. The air and space around the trumpet player is stellar, not to mention the dynamics of the trumpet, and the sax, and the bass, and the guitar, and the drums, and the waitress asking for my drink order! They never made em like this in the first place. But, on my new best girl from Seattle, Gail Pettis (May I Come In- QA2 Records), her sibilants are damn near detached. She's round, pure liquid and room present otherwise. My other best new very progressive jazz girl and group, Maria Neckam (Deeper- Sunnyside), sound wonderful. Lemme average this out over a couple more days. Thanks.
