Jeff,

Where is this list located and how does it get updated? Is it posted somewhere?

How long were you on the list before you received the speakers?

Danny is the only one with the list.
I just called him to get the next person to send to.
At the end of September I noticed that the N2X's were in the Los Angeles area, so I added my name to the list at that time.  I believe my proximity to the speakers kept me from being added to the end of the list.

I try to let everyone in a given area get to hear them before they move to another area. There are customers in MI with a pair of N2X's that might be glad to have you over.

Just received them.  First impressions are:

1. Both drivers are amazingly rugged to have made it to me intact given their travel path; and

2. The Neo3 PDR is a winner.  The waterfall plot does not lie: the driver is free of any lingering self-resonant artifacts and has a pleasant quick, clean decay... as compared to dome drivers, it has a nice, wide horizontal sweet spot (vertical sweet spot is a bit compressed, though.)  As Danny mentioned, distortion is a non-factor.  At about $50/driver, it's a silly-good bargain.

Thanks again to Danny for loaning these out.

I have shipped the N2X demo speaker this morning to the next person on the list.
They should arrive tommorrow.

That was an old message you replied to.  I'll email you.  AudioCircle hates my PMs

I'm not sure if it's been asked, but are there enclosure plans for the N2X with the beautiful curved sides and smaller back as shown in the pics here and the GR DIY kits page? (As opposed to the squared cabinet in the pdf from the link?)

The pictures from the GR page use a pre-finished cabinet from Parts Express.  There was much discussion in this circle about how the curved cabinets from Parts Express did not meet the claimed 0.50 cubic ft spec, and hence many use the rectangular cabinets from Parts Express instead.  I don't know if Parts Express ever corrected/redesigned their curved cabinets to meet that figure.

Hmmm what browser are you using Hal?

I just tried your link and the one from google search on both Chrome and IE and both timed out.
I'm in Canada, so I'm pretty sure our government isn't blocking this most subversive site   kidding.

I just cleared the Cache and deleted Cookies and that didn't help. Weird.
