Circle of Sound speakers, which dispersed the sound in a 360 degree manner thanks to the cone.

All joking aside, an old friend has most of his records intact because of that lighter tracking arm and head.
My LP's from that time are all gone. My family had a Montgomery Ward's stereo, with a BSR Turntable.
It did have a Phase Switch on it, which I found intriguing. Why put that on a run of the mill machine?
Back to the Fringe show, it was nice to have the mad doctor, listening to old Mississippi Delta blues records
as he was going through the stacks.
