I got mine and he had to have a pair. He sold his old speakers to buy the new ones.

I've just ordered new stands from Sound Anchor,, a 4 post 50+# for the Unifield 2's. The custom base plate will be sized per the tappered front to rear enclosure dimensions of the Uni 2's. Should look pretty darn sexy,, tho I'm sure, not quite the tank-like build of Cor's. The stands are prefilled. Also, I do have my high gloss black Unifield 3's for sale. All reasonable offers will be considered. Feel free to email me at bornie@pdq.net. My Uni 3's are customized as well.

I know this thread is about the Uni 2's, but what are those tubes in the photos?

I mean, my God, those are TUBES! That's all I'm saying.

Hi Steve,

The tubes you mean are the famous T 1610 of KR Audio Electronics located in the Chech Republic.
These tubes use a paralell twin 300 BXLS triode in a huge glass to act very spatial and to be very powerfull. The tubes are driven by a mossfet and controled by microprocessing. These tubes are the finest in the world to make music.
We use the KR amplifiers for more than twelve years now.
The amplifiers named Kronzilla and are available in different types.
SD (2x 22RMSwpc) SX (2x 50RMSwpc)and SXI (2x 50RMSwpc)as dualmono and DM (2x 44RMSwpc), DX (2x100RMSwpc) and DXL (2x 150RMSwpc) monoblocks.

Cor, your pictures are outstanding and the IIs are beautiful. Do they sound as good as they look? How do they compare with the Unifield IIIs? the VR5 Anniversaries?

Thanks for your compliments.

The Unifield II is designed for little rooms.
Very special is the co centric driver with a very smooth tweeter.
The assistance of the bass loader down to 30 Hz drives the Uni's to make complete music.
The Unifield III gives you more and the VR 5 even more. Every VSA speaker has that magic touch of reality.

Lately I had the opportunity to tune the VR 11. This system can fear you by it's realism. Don't watch a spooky film, you will run away. But watching a live concert on a big screen gives you the easy feeling 'you are there'.

It depends of size of the room (and the fund of course) which system will fit best.

Albert should design a nice speaker to put beside our computer too.

Here is my sons incomplete Uni 2s in his house. They are truly amazing speakers in this small room, I can't believe how good they preform. The big change coming is the VSA cables will be ordered next week and everything will be made super neat and nice. The pictures simply do not do the system justice, it looks and sounds much nicer in person. My system will be up soon.

This is an amazing combo. They integrate amazing and it was quick to set up.

Well the room is starting to come together. Still waiting for the VSA cables but other than perhaps a very small coffee table this room is done, except for some wire management.
