Do you want to see the date in your menu bar?

This little app does it. I have been using it for a week and really appreciating it: http://www.objectpark.net/

It syncs with iCal and displays data from it when you click on the little logo in the menu bar (which continuously displays the date).

Using the OS 10.4
the date is but not persistent—but available, it is a toggle with the time. Only requires clicking on the time in the menu bar, but that is fine by me.

Read the info again. The app is free. The $20 version is for extra features, but the free download gives you a useful feature set that also lets you see the date by simply looking at the menu bar, which I prefer to having to click on the thing.
