   so it appears that I need a new keyboard for my iMac 7.1 (Intel Processor).  

    Any suggestions for the best value vs. the best features?  It does not have to be wireless.  I do have access to an Apple Store.  

    BTW, I am typing this on my Macbook, thus the problem.

JMO, but my favorite is still the chunky 'white' extended keyboard. The ultra thins and compacts don't do it for me.
