I've been looking forward to this one since I first read about it at AintItCoolNews.com a while back. It was touted as a pretty significant departure for Jean-Claude, and I have to agree with that. It was actually a pretty creative film that serves several purposes. Not only is it entertaining in and of itself, but it also provides a forum for JCVD to get some stuff off his chest and, in a way, functions as a bit of a tribute to the guy's career. I supposed it could also be viewed as a propaganda piece, but I'm not going to be that cynical lol.
Definitely worth a look if you've ever found this guy the least bit interesting. Makes me wish he would have accepted Sly's invitation to be in The Expendables!
