Brethren in audiophilia,

For no other reason than the sicknesses called upgrade-itis and greenergrassonotherside disease I'm selling off some gear.

I've got the underrated and rarely seen April Music Stello AI 320 integrated amp.  She's a beauy inside and out - excellent components; build quality and of course, sound.  What a clean and precise little workhorse.  MSRP of $2795.00 I'm merely asking $1050 only $950 slashed to $900 shipped in the 48 conus!

Brushed aluminum chassis and solid aluminum remote control.  8/10 on a'gon scale.

Unfortunately there is little on line about this particular integrated however, all of Stello/April Music's products are very highly regarded and well reviewed.  The build quality, components and performance far exceed the asking price.  Is there better out there?  Definitely, but at what cost are you willing to find it at? 

The amp powers my Thiels with great finesse and an expansive soundstage.  "Clean" is probably the "one-word" description but there are numerous other adjectives that can be used.  Has a huge toroidal transformer and a large capacitor bank of 180,000 mF!  Another great option are the balanced inputs and pre-outs for balanced sources and adding subs or additional amps for bi-amping.  Also has HT bypass for ease of incorporation into your multi-thousand dollar HT rig or running as a simple amplifier which I have tried all with positive results.


MSRP is $2795 - I'm offering it here for a mere fraction.  There are slight cosmetics on the top of the unit but nothing horrible.  Just from other equipment being on top.  As usual, the remote has some small imperfections as well but if you're in the Audiophile hobby for looks then I might suggest looking into another past time...at my asking price this thing is a steal.

I was looking at the AI 320 product manual from the April Music website (http://www.aprilmusic.com/manuals/AI320_Manual_Eng.pdf) to see if it had input trim adjustment or input renaming. (It appears not).  But in their introduction and in the Specifications section, they list power output as 140W @ 8ohm.

Is this perhaps a later model or variation with higher power?

I don't know how to answer that one, in the user manualit shows 200w/ch as well as some websites.  I too, have come across some sites that show it as lower power however I really don't know how else to say but it was advertised as 200 watts when purchased.

I felt that it was more powerful than my NAD S300 dual mono integrated if that helps at all.

I'm also somewhat of a Sig Sauer and H&K fan so if you've got goodies I'll consider trades for semi-automatics, custom conceal holsters RH draw only at this time and .45 ACP ammunition.  UPS ships all of the above with no problems.
