FS: 2 Avalanche 18 Sub Drivers -- Huge -- Sold

I have for sale 2 Ascendant Audio Avalanche 18 sub drivers -- like new -- used very conservatively and not many hours.

These guys are monsters. They have XBL2 motors. They have an Fs of 16Hz. They can handle 800Watts Pnom. And they weigh 42lbs. each.

They are very flexible as far as implementation goes. They can go in a large ported enclosure or a smaller (approx 6 cu ft) sealed cabinet. Many used these in an Infinte Baffle system. Some even used them in their cars. But, that's got to be way overkill for autos.
I'm asking $250 each plus shipping and insurance. I will ship these, I have the original boxes. But as I mentioned above, they are heavy and I'm sure the freight charges will not be cheap. I will do my best to augment the original cartons so as to ensure a safe journey. But of course a local pickup would be preferred.

Have a peak below -- they are really nice looking drivers and make no mistake, they will vibrate your house if you want them to. Just to give you and idea as to the scale of these guys, the 6th picture down from the top shows one of them next to a 15" driver. You can also see these pictures in my gallery. I think they display larger over there if you want to see a little more detail.

Hi Brax,
I would charge whatever UPS charges. I do not have them in boxes right now. But, I approximated the shipping carton size and weight. The UPS site is showing just over $50 each. I could not see charging more than that. If the actual cost comes out lower, I would charge the lower price of course.

I received the subs today. They were packed so well, I think I could have dropped the box down a flight of stairs without damage. Drives look to in excellent condition. Pictures just don’t do them justice, they are monsters. I hope they sound as good as they look once my cabinets are done.

I would not hesitate to do business with Blizzard again, great seller.
