Does anyone have HQ youtube?  What is the audio like with HQ?
Wonderful !

HQ is excellent for newer computers and for faster connections, SQ is much easier on older gear.  Sound quality in HQ is much better.

Shockingly good :o .... I thought this feed was a bit more emotive of the singing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il5TBgD9kHI&NR=1

Thanks for the link.  That was the most enjoyable post I have ever read??--heard and seen.  I plan to enjoy it again and again.  Incredible talent.

I expanded the picture to fill the screen so I could watch facial expressions. I enjoyed that almost as much as the singing. I loved the little smile Susan gave before she started--she knew, she knew.  Simon's eyebrows went way up and the female judge's jaw dropped.  Later catch Simon reacting to the audience's excitement.

How can talent like that be hidden for so long?  Unbelievable emotion.  I also have watched & listened to it many times over.   Also listened to her charity CD "cry me a river".  Her ability to convey emotion is no fluke!

Excellent clip!

A link to one of the better high-quality versions I was able to find with a quick search, although cut down to just the singing part:

A friend sent me the link to the clip of the complete video yesterday.  I began watching and I have to admit I was expecting the type of performance that Simon and the other hosts were expecting.  I was blown away and have listened to the singing portion of the clip several times.  Amazing!

Not to be a party pooper or anything but she has no soul. She would do well in opera though. Different strokes for different folks. She put me to sleep. Not that I have any taste though. :?

Sarah McLachlan is a Angel singing. The Lass from England has talent but let's not blow it out of proportion.

Help.  I click on the link and I get a pop up that wants me to do something and that makes me nervous.  Can someone please just post the singer's name and song?  Thanks you.

Her name is Susan Boyle.  The song is "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables".  If you liked it, go see the musical in person.  It will bring tears to your eyes.
