Brian, John as usual thank-you for your responses, but what I wanted to know is that if one already has a RM30M, how do I disable the Megawoofer (if possible) (ie, could a pre-amps bass management set the crossover high enough to limit the megawoofers output, or can one open up the speaker cabinate and disconnect the megawoofers wires, etc). We are in the process of making cabinates for our family room (its 11 feet tall, and about 10 feet wide) so I have plenty of space for speakers, but they would need to be forward firing. I like the sound of VPMS and even though the room is large, with lots of windows, I think the RM30s will sound nice there (but the cabinate maker needs dimentions) and I really will not need deep base for that part of the house (but I will have a sub anyways, just in case, lol). I currently have RM40's with LRC for my front three in my makeshift hometheater (project on hold), and I plan on moving the LRC to the family room (to go with the RM30M) and then buy a RM30 center speaker to go with the RM40's. If it is impossible, not practical, or will 'ruin' the speakers, then I will have to look into something else.
