This is an Audio Note Custom L2 Preamplifier that has been on exended loan to a fellow AC member. I just received it back and have gone through it and everything checks out good.

 This preamp utilizes the original Audio Note mains transformer and choke. Mundorf Power supply. Coupling capacitors in the analog stage are V-Cap Teflon. Level II phono stage with Mundorf Silver/Oil capacitors. 3 sets line inputs, 1 set phono inputs, 2 sets line outputs. CD input uses 22 awg solid silver wire.

 With only two signal tubes, the 12AU7 analog stage is a tube rollers dream. One 12AU7 and one 12AX7 make up the phono stage. The power supply uses a 6X5 rectifier and 6BM8 regulator.

 It has a 3/4" Solid Cherry face plate that is aging very nicely. I applied another coat of oil finish on it this morning.

 Built Aug. 07 - - 5 year warranty from build date still remaining

I just found a brand new original black acrylic face plate, still has plastic film on it,  that I can install on the preamp or include with it.

 if anyone is interested, I also have another unit that is a bit more advanced with dual power supplies. One complete power supply for each the analog and phono circuits.
