Good morning. Most are fairly fungible within their respective types (i.e. differing rotational speeds & varying cache sizes), but you should be aware that recent Seagate (no affiliation with them or any competitor) drives have been having some firmware problems, IIRC. Not trying to scare you away from them, but you might google any Seagate model before you buy it. Western Digital drives have always worked well for me (again, no affiliation). Good luck. Cordially,
