They look fantastic Perry! Well done! I hope mine work out that well :)

I have read that the pro drivers have
stiffer suspension and will take a little longer to break in....

What do you mean by Pro drivers? Did you use the standard drivers from the Venue kit?

Thanks,

Steve.

Would Herbie's Fat Dots loudspeaker isolation feet improve the sound more than the carpet pad on the wood floor?

I received a very nice set of spikes with the kit from Danny.
Two reasons no spikes yet....first....when I built my pair I didn't slope the box as per the plans. It was much easier for
me to build a square box, it also lets me experiment with the angle of the tilt....so far a cd jewel case under the front
seems to work the best....that would be close to the angle shown on plans....so when I install spikes I'll use a spacer that size.
Second....the room that these are in now is temporary.....I am building a dedicated 2ch room and I want to install them in there. It
makes for easier moving....and have you ever seen what a slip up with spikes on a hardwood floor can do.....my wife reminds
me all the time!

Steven......read the first post by Danny on the OB thread......these are pro drivers.
Who knew they could sound this nice in a home audio set-up.
