All,
I wanted to share some pics of my daughter Emily Elizabeth. She was born Monday night at 5:38 PM. Mom and baby are in good health and we got to come home on Wed. Now I just have to figure out how to get her interested in my audio hobby
We listened to a little Pat Metheny last night and she seemed to like the music. Her nose turned up a bit to Allison Kraus though

Congrats Rick! I have a pic of my middle daughter in her pumpkin seat with my AKG240's on. Mozart put her right to sleep just like it does to me.

Hey Rick,
Congrats on being a dad. Like Bryan said, enjoy this time. Before you know it, they are gone and you are lucky to see them once a week.

Congratulations Rick! You are a lucky man!
What everyone said goes, so savor your time before you turn around and hear 'head-banging'
music coming out of your house when you get home.
You have a beautiful daughter, and our best to Mom for doing all the hard work.
Best Regards,

that's great news Rick- glad to hear you and Sarah have a healthy little one.
Start 'em early, play it often, play it loud and she'll never know the difference.

Congratulations Rick! This is the start of really special time in your life. Savor it, for they grow up far to quickly. As far as the music and gear goes she looks like a Flat Earther. Those Dynaudios and the Odyssey just ain't gonna do it.
We have to get some Naim and Linn gear to get her started.

Congratulations Sarah and Rick. You've got a very beautiful little girl there indeed!
As far as the music in concerned, you
should have been
feeding her tunes through headphone on Momma's tummy while in the womb. You
have been
doing that, right?
Congratulations again on a healthy Mom and Baby!

All,
Thanks for the kind words! So far I am really enjoying fatherhood. Sturg, you are right, I will have to get Emily listening to some Linn and Naim gear
. Chris Hoff modified my squeezebox a bit more the other day so I will be doing a little review on that one soon. Once Emily is settled a bit more I am thinking of having a spring / summer get together out at my place. I'll keep you guys in the loop on that.
Thanks,
Rick

Good deal! A new member. Does she prefer tubes or sand circuits?
