Ok just to let you know what we did.I am not going to get into all the music we listened to, I will let Bob comment later. I let Bob hear the STs on my system first . PS Audio A100 amp and P200 preamp with the Marantz Sa15s1 cd player. Then we hooked the Axioms up to my system. The Axioms were boomy and very stringent , not something that I could sit and listen to for very long.
Next up was Bob's Denon AV receiver hooked up with my old Denon DVD2200 player with the ST's then with the Axioms. The Axioms again were boomy and stringent.
The SongTowers in both systems were tighter , quicker and much more detailed and smoother and you do not get fatigued listening to them. Then we listened to Joe's HT3's, so I am sure you know what happened ther. I am sure Bob will post his thoughts later after he gives his wife some time when he gets home.
