Hi everyone,

I would like to know has any one tried the neo3 pdr and neo 8 together as a tweeter-midrange combination, also what would be better, the neo 8 or neo 8pdr in this aplication. Has anyone have any ideas???

A single Neo 8 can be crossed as low as 1kHz. The Neo 3 pdr can be crossed as low as 1.5kHz. I typically cross it at 1.8kHz.

Going to the 8 as a mid just doesn't make a lot of sense to me when you can cross the 3 as low as that. Really what would you let the 8 cover 1kHz to 2kHz? It's too small of a range.

Hi Danny,

The woofer i want to use is only really good up to about 800, but fantastic from there down, I was thinking of using the 8 as a mid from 800 to about 3.5 and use the neo 3 as a good tweeter. The ones that you sent me sound really sweet up the top end of the specrum and i dont know of another tweet that sounds that open and clean for the price, so its essentially a three way that i want to build for this woofer. What do you think?
