Seems to be some mixed reviews on these (SHM CD's not the titles you referenced specifically) out there, what's your experience been?
I've read mixed reviews... I'm not so much sold on the sound quality improvement brought on with the reformulated plastic rather I'm hoping for better longevity, scratch resistance, etc...
The sound quality of the japanese discs often sound better as they are often remastered and they take more care in the disc production stages.
The Led Zep Box set is remastered and people who have vinyl say it's as close as they've heard.
I know the japanese AJA disk was always claimed to sound better...though the US versions I have had always sounded pretty good to me.
Just added Fagen's "The NightFly" and Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"...
I'm feeling nostalgic, what can I say...
