There has been mention of people using this unit in conjunction with the Panny Digital Receivers XR25\45s and I want to know what the benefit is?

I would think that adding it would diminish the playback due to adding another box into the equation. Recording might be enhanced and maybe room acoustics.

What do people think or what have you heard?

The Behringer DEQX 2496 would be a much better bet.

The improvement (IMHO) from using room correction to fix problems in the listening room is the single biggest thing most people can do to improve their sound.

SInce the signal is kept digital all the way, their should be no degradation.

Thanks for the reply.

So you are saying that using the unit between the Source and the  Behringer Ultra Curve Pro with the Panasonic unit would allow you to customize room equalization.

I think I would need a program to tailor the output to the room right or is there such a feature integrated into the unit?

Read the article again.

What I was trying to figure out was ,what people that are using the unit with the Panasonic would gain from it being placed between. Do not like the attributes the writer stated when used in that kind of configuration. The answer seems to be if you are using it for recording purposes or for room correction. Other than that it might degrade the playback for normal listening when used with Panasonic receiver.

Someone else had suggested it mated well. Then another said it hinders playback .

Coin toss on weather to try it I guess.
