I recently took delivery of a TADAC circa Jan.30.09 and I must admit I'm very impressed! This thing sounds good, very very good.

zapper7, just in case you haven't bought one yet, this is a no brainer.

Anyway, I was wondering which transports you're using with this dac?
Mine is connected to a JVC XL-Z1050 and the results are superb

I want to try it with the Jolida JD100 but I think it might a bit of a tubyness overkill

TIA and Cheers to all,

Hi there, read the thread from the beginning, it's all there

I picked up the 2009 TADAC this past Christmas.  As others have said, Paul is great to work with and responds quickly to all inquiries.  I've enjoyed my TADAC and found it to be sensitive to tube rolling.  My favorite 12AU7s to date are the RCA cleartops - clear and open with a good frequency range and wide soundstage.  The TADAC replaces the analog outs of a RWA-modded SB3 which now serves as the transport.  I did try the Benchmark in my system, and as my wife said, "it sucked the life out of the music" (translation - cold, thin, clinical).  The TADAC is definitely worth a try.
