Studio would be a good one, people who do recordings in the studio want the sound to be as analytical as possible to best match the recording to what they are actually hearing live. When I had cut a master in the studio, we used monitors that when played back would best represent how we sounded. I use Powered Studio Monitors at home for my keyboard. They don't however, sound that great playing Cds through.
I'll take a different angle to the same question.
There is accurate' as a pure goal. Practical considerations and compromises aside, 'good monitoring is accuracy! to a large degree. So on the surface, pursuit of 'HiFi is the same. Or is it? Perhaps sometimes but not always. See 'compromises' to favor euphonic' and the very real shifting of goal re what and where ever the desire for good musical experience', the chase for the illusion etc, may lead one.
Compromises on the 'pro side- often many. Rugged! Inexpensive -(they're doing their job very well enough thank you very much at 1-$3k a pair
and less in many cases, often including active guys)* comfort in name recognition, and in some case known and/or excepted bumps' in freq. response. (Let's see; 'more revealing'? How do you get 'more revealing', on midrange detail' for example, other than two ways- Tighter image (that's a 'more accuracy' factor not a 'hype-) or bump the mid?
The case has been also made for
'too accurate to a fault for mixing' out there. Ie, one
might not go far enough on 'clean up/optimizing' tracks so they work in/on/for the real world customers. Yeah.

When is 'High Fidelity', pursuit of the illusion, ever, let along the business of' been a simple task to pin down.
I am (rather) 'low on experience' with various speaker systems vs both you full time pro' and high end' guys. But comfortable enough to say with enough time, listening, playing with and manipulating the basics, the variables, the cause and effects- SP's walk the walk. And I feel these concepts can be thought of in very straight forward manner once you get the motivations and goals clear.
Most of the rest of differences are fluff and flavor IMHO.
Be happy. Enjoy aa
*Hey, how much was that x-over upgrade again? Hmm, guess I need to back on the ball playin this room.
