Cool,
I must tell you - I like those quite a bit.
To bad not many know or heard these fine speakers.
Congrats on the sell and to person who bought it - I am sure you will enjoy them.
Best

Thanks Mariusz. They have given me much enjoyment.
On his way to my place, the buyer stopped and listened to a pair of Von Schweikert VR4 JR.
He said my sound with the Herons (and even with my Spendor FL-9, which he also auditioned) just crushed them...not even close.
He was over the moon with his purchase. He is not a hopeless gear swapper like most of us.....been listening to his current spkrs for over 10 years. So I'm happy they went to a nice home where they will be enjoyed for years to come.
I normally don't get attached to gear. They are a tool, a means to an end to be discarded when something better is found. But in this case, I must admit to just a touch of sadness to see them go.
The Herons are a special speaker, and a great value in today's market. Shame that they are shunned by so many simply cause they are older, or a defunct company, or not a current "fan boy" fave.
Oh well, their loss.
