For Verite there would be possible confusion with Verity Audio

http://www.verityaudio.com/en/

or the Energy Veritas Speakers

http://www.ultimateavmag.com/speakersystems/20/

Good point. Maybe Veritay?

Other french girl name ideas. None of these show anything loudspeaker/audio related in a relavant search:

Adelaide

Amelie

Helene (my favorite)

Maryse

Verrine

Seraphina (I like this one too).

I'm truly surprised by how difficult naming these speakers has been.

Maybe it's time to give up and just call it the OB-8.

Like I posted before, how about GR-00v1 or GR-880085?

(If you don't get the joke, let me know).

Perry,

Those are truly gorgeous. Definitely something to look into if you are into Open Baffle & High Sensitivity. I would've gone for this unit but I'm currently deep into waveguide theory.

Anand.

Varite or any variation of that word didn't pass either. They don't allow you to use the same name as another company in the industry and just change the spelling.

Two other suggestions made:

This one is in the "V" line of thought: The Vader.

The other is: The Mojo.

I like just "GR Research Mojo", with no "The".

I kind of like the Mojo name as well.

One of the definitions is: A magic charm or spell.

These speakers really will put a spell on you. I'm a little spell bound. I have still never had more fun with any speaker than this.

Yep, Venue is good. I had a pair of Jamo OB speakers and they were fun. they looked better than they sounded though :(

I wonder if Danny can beat the Danes in the bass department. deep bass in an OB would be way cool.

Hey nickd,

Venue was protested by Harmon International.

And these speaker produce the best sound bass reponse that you've ever heard and flat to 20Hz.
