I think this was mentioned before:

How about Rush or The Rush?

GR Research presents The Rush open baffle loudspeakers.

Says fast and airy pretty well.

"Get The Rush from GR Research"

Verismo is a great one.  :thumb:

I don't like any of the others metioned today.

Except maybe the  :o

Also, regarding numbers, they are names too, and some can come with just as much baggage as words. Or they can also be too meaningless.

OK here is a new contender.

GR Research Mercurial or Mercurials.  My thought was something quick and mercury was once known as Quick Silver.

Main Entry: 1mer?cu?ri?al
Function: adjective
Date: 14th century
1 : of, relating to, or born under the planet Mercury
2 : having qualities of eloquence, ingenuity, or thievishness attributed to the god Mercury or to the influence of the planet Mercury
3 : characterized by rapid and unpredictable changeableness of mood <a mercurial temper>
4 : of, relating to, containing, or caused by mercury

Thoughts?

Verisimo is good, but I really like

"The speaker formerly know as 'Venue'"

And you might want to register "Vader" for some yet to be designed potential speaker  (if you can)

I can't believe how hard this was.

I think I will come up with a series name and a designation for now. Other models in this series will follow anyway.

As authors dedicate books, why not name it after someone special from your family, or a friend, or a favorite musician?

Looking at the speaker from the side, the side panels look like wings. Wings to fly you away on a musical journey. So Maybe a name with wings in it like

1) Wings

2) Sound Wings

3)The Wing

4)The Eagle

Or something along these lines. If someone else sees what I'm talking about, maybe they have an idea related to this theme.

Has this been proposed?  If not I submit...

The GR-Research Ethereals

1.     light, airy, or tenuous: an ethereal world created through the poetic      imagination.
2.    extremely delicate or refined: ethereal beauty.
3.    heavenly or celestial: gone to his ethereal home.
4.    of or pertaining to the upper regions of space.

Come on guys, get behind me on this and let's put this puppy to bed.  BBQ at my place for the inauguration when I get my pair to go with my Doddenstien amps.
