I've only seen previews on TV but my first thought is how Keanu Reeves can't even come up to Michael Rennie's knee. Is that how it plays out?

John - Right after I typed the above comment, NPR came on with a Howie Moshewitz review of the film. He didn't like it. The comment I recall was something about how this movie makes junk like Independence Day seem like a classic.

Sounds like a "pass".

Overall it wasn't good. I was into it during the first third, but after that nothing of interest really transpired.

If you want to see a good action flick that is entertaining from start to finish, go check out Transporter 3  :thumb:

I just saw this movie tuesdy in IMAX and I loved the movie up til the ending which simply sucked. Special effects were very good as was the soundtrack and this movie filled in a lot of blanks from the first movie with it's added storyline. But the ending was a flat as a week old open beer.

I agree BTW that Transporter 3 was a much better movie. :thumb:

Cheers,
Robin

I hope if that ever happens in real life, our Gov't isn't quite as stupid as they were depicted in the film! lol

Glad you felt the same about T3...Anyone who enjoyed the first two will love this one  :thumb:

terrible movie.  sorry, but the ending wasn't the worst part.  it was very cheesy and yes, the government part was totally dumb.  i laughed so hard when a soldier "accidentally" shot the alien in the beginning.  come on, did the director really think the movie would make it with that?  oh well, i went in expecting nothing and came out surprised at how much i laughed at its stupidity.
