TADAC tube recommendations?

TADAC tube recommendations?

I just ordered a TADAC from Paul at Tube Audio Design/Bizzy Bee.  It uses a pair of 12AU7's (or variants) in the output stage of the DAC.  A search of the Web has revealed only one recommendation for some Mazda 12Au7's and mixed reviews of the Mullard CV4003.  I would appreciate learning about TADAC owner's experiences with tubes.

I'll second the French Mazda 12Au7's, also enjoy some RCA clearplates (an affordable, wise and safe choice.)

I'm using a pair of Mullard "Old Logo" ECC82's in mine and they sound great. Mellower and smoother than the tubes that Paul provides although I could live with them too.

Thanks for the suggestions!  The TADAC is coming with a pair of 60's NEC long plates and I just placed an order for some RCA cleartops.
