Several of the NY Ravers have been there (I've been twice in the last months, It's < 30 min from my house)

There are some threads in the NYAR circle.

Best system I've ever heard, w/ the big Ascendos and Behold integrated  :thumb:

Brett is a cool guy, very accommodating to us when we've been there.

Want more info? Lemme know, gotta eat lunch...

I visited 202 in October and spent more than half a day talking audio and listening.
Brett is knowledgeable, a gracious host, and a truly nice guy!

Some comments and pics of his incredible house and gear here:

If you visit, be sure to listen to the Sunny Cable speakers.
Best sub $25k speaker I've ever heard, and priced at much less than that!
AWESOME!

I was actually at Audio 202 yesterday and got to meet Brett (very nice guy!).  I was very impressed with his store (the main room is very big and open, with vaulted ceilings).  I recommend people in the NY, NJ, PA area call him and visit.  8)

Brett called me with much interest in the WLM Diva speakers and Red Wine Audio preamp/amp.  This is what I brought yesterday and was there for about 6 hours.  We tried them in a smaller room (where the Sunny Cable speakers are) and obtained great results with very little tweaking (the room still needs to be treated), and later his main listening room where they really came to life and sounded very open and spacious - amazing!

Brett now has a pair of the WLM Diva Floorstander (in Tineo finish) in his main listening room.  Soon he will also have Red Wine Audio equipment!  aa

I hope many of your in the area will get a chance to listen...

Vinnie

PS: I promised him that I will visit at one of his future audio gatherings (he can easily fit > 50 people and has in the past) and bring more gear to listen to.

Wow...I guess he moved the Sunnys.

When I was there I heard them in the very large main room....just like here:

They were tremendous.  And lest anyone think they performed so well cause they were driven by ridiculously priced kit...they were not!  I think it was a modest Cayin tube amp.

The mind races with thoughts of what they would do with the insertion of more "audiophile approved jewelry".

That's one thing about Brett - He is very, how shall we say, lenient about the quality of the front end electronics at times. I still haven't heard his Mark+Daniels do what they can do due to the less than steller gear he's had in front of them. He likes the "look at what you can do with modest electronics" angle at times - Nothing wrong with that, another data point never hurts.

But, he has offered to let me take them home whenever I want, for several days, as he says "If you are interested, or even if you aren't intersted and you just want to hear 'em in your home" - A very generous offer, to let you know what kind of guy he is.
