Difference between 9B ST thx amp and the 9B SST
« on: 8 Dec 2008, 05:11 pm »
I have a 4B SST amp that powers my Paradigm Studio 100 v4 speakers. I am looking for a 5 channel amp that will powers my center C690, sides ADP 590v4 and rears Polk rti4. I am currently using a denon 3808 ci receiver to power my center and surrounds. Looking to add the 9B st or the 9B SST 5 channel amp. I would like to know the differences in sound if any between the ST and SST configuration.

Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the board.  You should be able to search and find feedback on ST vs SST amps.  My impression when I upgraded from 4BST to 4BSST was that the SST bass was more full and the top end a little sweeter.
