Dave, you're already some 12 db down at treble perception, what you really need now is an Yamaha amp paired with Klipsch speakers. You can send me the Brystons to dispose of.

Track 3 "High Shelf Booze" should definitely be in your equipment auditioning arsenal:

Now I'm pretty sure that nothing will stop you from getting a pair of those JBLs....  :eyebrows:

We need to crash Laundrew and have an audition at his place. Who's in?

Great choice - I just saw her in a small club in Arlington, VA on Friday night.  Definitely worth catching live.  Her band is amazing.

You never know...there are other speakers on my short list. There's Klipsch, Tannoy, etc.

Horns are good, especially after 40.....  :jester:

If you spent your twenties in your car pumping hip-hop through 4 subwoofers, you may appreciate them much earlier....

Nina Simone - Live At Ronnie Scott's. This is a standard definition DVD, so there's nothing spectacular in video / sound recording, however it is an extraordinary emotional performance. Includes a fabulous "If You Knew", the best performance of it by any artist ever. Not available on CDs (they sport a different version).

Exactly! No, never did that in my 20s. But, I attended some very loud heavy metal and punk concerts!

Don't worry, we found the new location. Looks like you kinda' downsized on housing after purchasing the B28s, those amps must have been expensive:
