Hello Bill,

The cello is such a marvellous instrument. One of my favourite Gothic groups, “Persephone” uses a cello and when combined with Sonja Kraushofer vocals it is an awesome combination. I enjoy the way a cello “can get down into the basement.” Metaphorically speaking of course.

Be well…

I have to admit that i didn't much care for this new release from Massive attack. But i have to say it has grown on me....

Music is nicely layered with nice a slow pace at times. It's good stuff.

Just recently released on the feb 8th

Good production on this one. One of UFOs best albums, imo. It's rockin'!

To be most accurate, they were the ones that came up with Trip Hop being apart of "The Bristol Sound" along with Portishead--Tricky was also a part of their crew--who's new album I really have enjoyed--after a decade off.
I managed to see them in concert before Daddy G and Mushroom left, and haven't been all that enthused by their later albums, but, the video for the new single is pretty cool: 'Splitting the Atom'.

P.S. my latest love is Diane Birch (labelmate of Joss Stone), a very cool R&B soul, and great keyboardist, with a definite gospel feel--she did some recording in New Orleans which you can definitely hear.

Thank you gaderson :)

I enjoy Portishead and I am very fond of their CD “Dummy.”

My favourite tune by Portishead is “Roads.” Roads was used in the tribute video "Dark Angel" for Sophie Lancaster - my heart truly goes out to her, may she be at peace and also, to her boyfriend, Robert Maltby.
