Hey Bob in StL, you'll love this one. This guy machined a working 1/6th scale 327......that actually runs (see the video).

Moyer made V8........ Way cool :thumb:

 :o Holy smokes!!
That's fantastic. Thanks for the link Scott. Neat videos!

So, you think this fella was a machinist in a past life?
If you look up the words "meticulous" and "patience" in the dictionary, his picture should be in there.
These images pretty well say it all:

I'm a life long  chevy guy ... but that small block sounds a little whimpy to me and it won't even stay running

Please turn your volume on and watch how this MINI sounds when he hits the throttle .... and it just idles all day long at 1200rpm

Maybe the choke was stuck on the sm block so it wouldn't idle

I told you I was a chevy guy

Pretty incredible isn't it? Accurate right down to the freeze plugs and oil journals.....and a working oil pump that isn't much bigger than a quarter.

Yep, he's a machinist alright  :thumb: Thought you'd get a kick out of that link  :green:

Here is one that was emailed to me some time ago. You may have seen it already as it's a few years old.

Very cool. I'd see the one of the 312PB Ferrari replica but not the 327 replica. Another guy who has been building model V8's for 30 years is Gary Conley. http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Conley.htm and http://www.conleyprecision.com/online_videos.htm
