Hey Rapt,

Of the better names submitted not too many pass the Trademark search, but yours did. It actually fits really well with the listening impressions of the speaker, and I kind of like it too.  :thumb:

I am leaning pretty hard this direction. Good thinking!

The Vanquish

1  : to overcome in battle : subdue completely   2  : to defeat in a conflict or contest   3  : to gain mastery over (an emotion, passion, or temptation) <vanquish your fear>

I also want to give a big thanks to everyone that submitted names. You were all a really big help.

no, No  , NO! Pleeze no Vanquish.  You have GOT to be kidding me.
Vanquish the damn notion.

I  humbly submit the name THE DOCTOR.  These speakers should fix
whatever is ailing your sound system, assuming one has a decent source.

I won't give up until the
name is chosen.

OB-GYN?

Ok...Seriously now...How about "The Syphilis"

Or...Oblique or OB-lique (as in "not straightforward")

Or...Oblige or OB-lige (as in "to accommodate")

Or...Obsequious or OB-sequious (as in "showing too great a willingness to serve or obey; fawning")

Or...Obsess or OB-sess (as in "preoccupy greatly")

Or..."Gee this speaker sounds terrific"

Or..."Chicken McSpeaker"

No, no. No thanks, necessary. I'm here to help. That's what I do.

How about  Rapture

The state of being transported by a lofty emotion; ecstasy.
A state of elated bliss
Transporting from one place to another, especially to heaven.

How about from Roman mythology, Jupiter - the king of the gods, and the god of sky and thunder . .
(the equivalent of Zeus in Greek mythology). I have a hunch those sort of old European names might go well in Asia  . .

Or Ambrosia - the food or drink of the gods, often depicted as conferring ageless immortality upon whoever consumes it.

oracle - a person who delivers authoritative, wise, or highly regarded and influential pronouncements,
a divine communication or revelation

Apollo - the god of light and the sun; truth and prophecy; archery; medicine and healing; music, etc
And of course the spacecraft whick  landed men on the and returned them safely to earth.

If you want to get really creative, you can just drop the G from the name of the company and rebrand yourself as Richie, and make this the:

Richie Debut

Or if that conjures up images of nice bicycles, you could rebrand as

Danny Debut

Or the good old, "what does the GR stand for" GR-Research Debut. but that doesn't really work now, does it.

So Given the size and elegant appearance, I like something that has orchestral connotations, you could even get into opus numbers, or symphony numbers.

So I'm into GR-Concerto number X.

This would be where "symphony" would be for Really big speakers like line arrays, and "concherto" would be for  smaller speakers, but still mighty nice, and so forth...

I don't really know, but I sure would love to build them.

Now it's back to painting my listening/bedroom.

Ready to put my suggestion in.

GR Truth

Meaning that when you listen to the speaker, you hear a truthful reproduction of the original.  Nothing added or taken away, just the pure original sound as intended by the recording engineers.
