You need a VMPS Original sub - they won't look as nice, but will sound much better.  Very musical and tight.

                     My ear likes my Velodyne sub readings at 0db with the rest of loudspeakers with bursts of 2-4db. My Sunfire has an outstanding calibration tone for the sub that gives me this 2-4 db variance. Regards, Robin

there is somthing special about a vmps sub :mrgreen:
forget the original and go for the large :o
you will be very happy with one(how often you see them for sale used)

roscony, hantra's room is ~12.5x14.5 - even the original mite be on the large side in that room.  i'd recommend a pair of vmps smaller subs...   :wink:

i love having my pair of vmps larger subs.  but, in a smaller room i would much prefer a pair of original or smaller subs than a single larger...
