Ok, I have to come up with a couple of Christmas lists.  Looking for suggestions on CD's, audio tweeks, etc.  I have read the Christmas CD thread and have picked a few cd's off that for a list.  If I had your name what would you put on your list?  Let's say items selling for under $40 and $100 (two different families).

Any AudioCircle manufacturers offering Christmas specials?

How 'bout Mapleshade's Ionoclast??  Neutralizes static on CD's, LP's & cables--$38.50 plus shipping.

Thanks Tonto.  I also thought of a couple more.

What about the ERS sheets?  Maybe the Stereovox digital cable... some CAIG ProGold or whatnot.. Some Disc Doctor record/CD treatments...
That's all that comes to mind at the moment.

On my list was a 50 or 100 pack of Memorex black CD-R's, a bunch of CD's some from that Christmas music list.  This one is more home theater but it'll be cool to have - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3364436340&category=617 and I also got this one - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3364799721&category=617 - make sure your player can do DVD-R though.  Mapleshade conepoints and/or Ayre Myrtle wood blocks.  An 8th nerve certificate for room treatments.  One last thing, a Powervar or Oneac conditioner from ebay.  Oh, another - Blue Circle BC-86 (I think) noisehound.  No personal experience with them but people claim they're great.

What about those Gutwire baggie-things to control resonance and whatnot.  I think they're 25 bucks a pop.  Hmmmm...can't remember the name but the review was good.  I think on 6moons. A lot less money than the Shakti stuff.

A bag of red and green shrink tubing.  Since red compresses the dynamics of the music and green expands it, the two equalize each other.  Plus it's a seasonal color so it all works out.

Thanks for this... I always wondered why the positive sounds I was hearing were so compressed and anemic compared to the negative sounds...
