My Garrard Turntable
« on: 8 Nov 2008, 03:21 pm »

Here is a Vintage Garrard Turntable. TYPE A II
Manual Automatic with the following speeds; 78, 45, 33, 16 RPM
Was planning on making a nice wood plinth for it but never got around to it. If I end up holding onto it, I will get around to it eventually. What you see in the pictures below is as much as I know. Never plugged in since I've had it.

I don't know the age or where it came from but since it has not case, I would imagine it came from a console. My landlord brought it over and asked it I had any use for it.

The following picture is NOT of the unit for sale. This picture was taken from the net simply to give an idea of what it may have originaly looked like.

Here is what it looks like as of today :thumb: Sounds much better than one would expect from such an old unit.
