Each resonator interacts with the other resonators installed in the room. The resonators are activated by sound waves in the room and produce overtones – subtle overtones, which also define the sound color. This coloring is often lost during the recording process, and when replaced improves the sound experience. The effect is similar to the results that can be created by sound spacialisation.

That paragraph was taken from the VD website. How can this possibly be true? How can you replace something that isn't there to begin with?

I believe what they're trying to describe is the replacement of instrumental harmonics that some may feel are missing. In some recordings, they may be, in others not. Regardless, while the concept is interesting, they're simply too small to do much of anything at any but the highest frequencies. Yes - in ancient civilizations, they did use 'jars' to provide tuned acoustical damping. These are similar to Helmholz resonators. Those resonators, however, work on the principle of DAMPING a tuned frequency band - not by resonating in sympathy with it. Also, MANY of those were used in a space and they were necessarily large to even begin to operate even as low as the dialog range.

I'm not saying these will or won't work. What I'm saying is that at best, they might do something from a few kHz up. It should be easy to measure. Hit one and see what frequency and overtones it resonates at. Whether having something ringing in your room is a benefit or not is up to the individual.

That instruction is for the Acoustic Systems type. (Frank T)
It may be the same for the Synergistic "Acoustic art" series, but It could be differently also..
Because the "package kit" is like 1 Bass Station + 2 Magnetron + 1 Gravatron + 1 Vibration
So, that may be different

This is the main content of the "audition".In the course of various positionings, removals, and repositionings, I heard the components of the ART system focus and tighten percussion, render a soundstage considerably more three-dimension, clarify a musical presentation rather than leaving it muddy, and considerably tighten and control bass.

No mention of just how long the audition was. I'd like to hear someone's review of the ART system in their own home over an extended period.
