I personally would not be able to afford the level and quality of my audio system and individual components if it were not for being able to buy secondhand.  While I have been a vocal person about my disgust with Audiogon, I have been able to afford an audio system and individual components that I'm very happy with.

The items that I have bought new were less than a few hundred dollars and that doesn't happen very often.

Forunately, the seconhand items that I have bought have really provided me with an audio system that I truly enjoy.  In fact, there are a few components that I plan on passing down to my boys.  Since I have 4 boys, I need to keep buying.   aa

A quick note to acknowledge the people that I have done business with over here at AC have been FANTASTIC!   :thumb:

If it wasnt for local auctions and ebay Id have nothing because of the price! Im into vintage equipment so used is the only way to go.  Last summer I bought a vintage Pioneer system for 65 bucks and Im the second owner. It even had the sales receipt. I even buy equipment that needs some work because it was more in my price range and I can fix it or know someone who can. So it saves me money in the long run. And fixing something that doesnt work for me is the rush!
