After looking to replace a digital frame that pooped out and seeing how much a decent one that was bigger than 7" cost I went another route. Bought a used PC on ebay for $60 and picked up a 22" widescreen monitor. The used PC is connected wirelessly to my main PC in the office - I dump pictures down to it that I want and run a slideshow using iView media pro. Total cost just over $200 which was about the same as a good 14" all in one unit.
This won't work for everyone but people always comment on how awesome it looks!
