Where are the Neo-2X being auditioned currently? Are they anywhere near central Ohio?

There is a Neo-1X in the Chicago area and a Neo-2X in Florida.

You owe it to yourself to visit with Alan and his unique custom "one off" pair of Neo's. I would if I lived within a 2-3 hour drive just to meet him and look at his fine craftsman's work.

There is a handful of guys around here that can build some for you.

No, what I was trying to say was that they have completed the tour in Chicago and I am looking to send them somewhere else nearby. You are not that far away.

Is the 1X as stellar of a performer as the 2X?

The Neo-2X is still in the North East.

The performance is very similar.

The Neo-1X has slightly more low end extension because of the ported enclosure. The Neo-2X has a little tighter bottom end to it with a little less extension.

I'd love to hear these if anybody has them near mount vernon, oh. If a circulating pair becomes available I'd love to have a go and then send them along to the next person as well. I've long been infatuated by the idea of building something really unique for myself and these (and the variations that have been cooked up) look like a great contender.
