I too would like to be added to the audition list. I live in Port St. Lucie, FL so I can wait until they get to the southeast.

I now have Neo-2X and Neo-1X models that are on tour.

There are not many in line at the moment so contact me soon if you want to get on the audition list.

My Internet service has been down.

A couple of guys next on the audition list are not ready yet as they are going to be out of town. I couple of others on the list have yet to get me the CC info needed to secure them. So at this time someone could jump to the front of the audition line if they get ahold me me quickly.

Beans!  Could this be the Holy Grail I've contemplated?:  Open Baffle Line Array?   Open Baffle Line Array Development:  "OBLA D".
Open Baffle Line Array Development version A:  "OBLA DA".
Somebody stop me!  Lunchtime today is boring.

I am not meaning to be a tease. I just wanted to make sure it was going to happen before I put my foot in my mouth and said something was going to be there.

I have been working on a project for months now and I have been counting on someone else to get the cabinets gone and to me in time. It is coming down to the very last minute.

In fact I have two different speakers coming down to the last minute.

Plan A, for the ball room (30' by 38' room), I have an open baffle line source.  It has a front baffle that looks a bit like the LS-9. It uses the same tweeters (9 of them) but in free air. It also uses twelve 6.5" woofers, but they are quite different than the woofers in the LS-9. These woofers are designed to play in free air. So that is the front baffle...

20" back from that is the rear baffle. The front and rear baffles are linked with an inner frame structure. The sides are open. The rear baffle supports six 12" woofers (all SW-12-16FR's). They are all direct servo controlled of course. So they will have a flat response to below 20Hz with absolute control and EQ system.

In the center of the structure there is a wedge shaped divider facing the front baffle to defuse the back wave and keep it from reflecting off of the rear subs. This wedge shaped center structure will be lined with No Rez as well to not only deflect but absorb a bit too.

I'll try to get some pics of the empty boxes to post tomorrow.

I have something really special for my smaller room as well, but won't announce it until I know for sure it will make it to the show.

So hang in there. More to come.

Open Baffle Line Array!  I knew it!  It had to be!  :bounce:  :hyper: :banana piano:

Rear baffle with six 12" woofs?  That's quite a twist.

Seems like a lot more than "months now" as I know this has been brewing in your fertile mind a very long time... Best of luck beating the clock on this monster.   Can't wait to see and hopefully hear it.  Maybe a new RMAF 2008 thread is in order?

No. There is a twist on it though that utilizes a marketing strategy that could set a new industry standard for high end audio. More details on it soon.

As soon as I have pics of what is coming I will start a new thread.

I have also been working with Tyler Acoustics in designing an all new product line for that company that even includes all new custom drivers. I will start a new thread on that as well and will want everyone going to go visit his room to see and hear one of those new models.
