I decided to do away with "wanted to buy" ads as a category. The site has a feature that is far more powerful, flexible and efficient then the process of placing ads in WTB category.
"Notify Me" feature, found in "My Account" area, allows you to screen new listings for search terms as they are entered onto the site by advertisers regardless of whether or not you are logged in and without having to rely on a seller to notice your ad and email you with an offer. This is similar to performing a "search", but instead, the search "filter" terms you enter will be screening the site for listings that have not yet been entered.
When a newly entered listing matches one of your search filter terms you will immediately be notified by email. The email will contain the listing's information, as well as, a direct link to view the new listing.
WTB category ad placement is simply no match for this feature and for that reason WTB category is no longer present on the site. "Notify Me" is provided to all members free of charge.
