Hi all,
 We have been receiving countless inquiries about adding remote control capabilities to our new Musica Bella 'Purity' and 'Musicale' vacuum tube preamplifiers.

The problem was coming up with something that would not interfere with the signal and add noise. Over the years, we have not been happy with the simple remote (motored) volume pots.

The solution was to use a remote stepped attenuator and go one step further by providing it with it's own regulated power supply. Not just the PS board but it's own dedicated transformers as well.

 Remote features/options will be as follows:

 ** Volume, balance, mute only - standard selector switch will be used for source selection
 ** Volume, balance, mute, source selection - no knobs
 ** With or without LED volume level indicator
 ** Manual momentary push button switches for manual and source selection that can be mounted on the front panel or countersunk on the side of the unit's wood enclosure and out of sight- just in case the remote stops working or your dog buries it in the back yard.

  I have finished designing, building and testing the power supply and working on installing the completed unit into our demo 'Purity' tube preamp. More information as well as some pictures will be posted shortly. Price is yet to be determined.

There have been some inquiries regarding incorporating our new remote into some of our other products and/or modifications. The simple answer is .....YES Providing there is sufficient room in the chassis for the dedicated transformer, power supply and circuit boards, we will be able to use this remote in our other products.

 I have also had a few inquire about using it in our new Musica Bella 'Purity' stereo amplifiers (the new, enhanced all wood design based on the 3205). Given the custom built nature of this product, the new remote WILL be available as an option in this product as we release and integrated version.

 One of the products that many people ask about is the Reference Ming-Da MC-7 preamp. There is no room in this product for a remote. We CANNOT add a remote to this product.
