I am selling my Aesthetix ABCD-1 moving coil demagnetizer.
I paid $200 for it a year ago, from Acoustic Sounds or some such web retailer. I've used it a few times, and it works and looks just like it did the day I got it. I'd like to get $125 for it.
This box seems to appear in the Stereophile recommended components list every year; as I recall, Mike Fremer says it works as well as anything else. Regular use, say, every 100 hours or before a serious listening session, does make a sonic difference and I reckon most MC users either have or need to get a demagnetizing device.
I'm in the Southern Maryland/Washington DC area.
