For Sale: DNA LA-100 Reference solid state amplifier. Don Nance built a limited number of these extensively modified ART SLA-1 amplifiers. This unit was purchased in July, 2003 then upgraded to reference status with V-Cap OIMP capacitors and VH Audio cyrogenically treated 12 AWG copper wire in January, 2005. Power supplies & DC calibration were checked at this time.
I am selling the amplifier for a REDUCED price of $800 + shipping. It weighs about 28 lbs. and will be shipped from area code 19707.
The SLA-1 is rated at 100 watts RMS/channel @ 8 ohms (130 watts RMS/channel @ 4 ohms and 260 watts/bridged Mono @ 8 ohms), with hum and noise >100dB, and has an input impedance of 22k ohm unbalanced (44k ohm balanced). It features a toroidal transformer, XLR & RCA inputs, and a rear power switch.

The amplifier is extremely well built and will last a lifetime. The extreme left hand side of the faceplate and a couple heat sink fins were bent slightly from shipping when the unit was last modified by Don.
